The Indian mainstream media cries foul every time common citizens question their credibility. But the MSM has to blame only itself for all this loss of reputation as their partial and half baked reporting is the sole reason behind distrust among the masses.
Finally the truth has come out and the forensic lab has found out that the meat found in the fridge of Akhlaq was indeed beef from cow or its progeny.
This finding on the Dadri incident increases the list of sham incidents promoted by MSM to malign Modi government and creating atmosphere of hatred in the country.
The Dadri incident highlights everything that is wrong with MSM. While they will go over the top over one single incident to highlight atrocity against Muslims, they will completely ignore large scale riots like in Malda or recently in West Medinipur.
A sane media could have very well avoided creating mass hysteria around the Dadri incident and animosity between the two communities. Rather than cornering Akhilesh government on its record on law and order in UP, the media jumped on the bandwagon to bash Modi government for a random incident.
Now the media will try to spin the argument and make it a debate on beef ban. But beef ban is nothing new and has been enforced for past many decades when BJP was not even in power.
It has not even been a month since West Bengal elected TMC, West Bengali Hindus are already being subjected to riots in West Medinipur.
Large scale violence erupted in West Medinipur district after an altercation broke out between Hindus and Muslims. Many shops and houses of Hindus have been torched in the aftermath of this incident. Bikes and cars have been torched and there has been huge damage caused to public and private property.
According to local sources, heavy police force has been deployed but situation is still very tense.
As per some reports, loud speakers from mosques are heard saying that this is the last time Hindus will have their peaceful nights and that Hindus will be killed thereafter.
The tribal Hindus along with some locals have supposedly started to retaliate against these attacks and reserve police have been deployed there to prevent further escalation of the riots.
West Bengal gave enormous mandate to Mamta Banerjee even after TMC mishandled the Malda riots and did not take any action against the rioting Muslims.
Many Hindus on the right wing spectrum often blame the socialists and Marxists in India for being coolies of Russians and Soviet Union but for some reason they remain oblivious to the role played by west in creating and destabilising India using its coolies here and the Indian Americans. Has anyone wondered why most of the destructive memes which make it to Indian discourse like liberalism, secularism, feminism, MRA etc have their origin in the west?
The truth is, most of the destructive politics of India are actually supported by the west and not Russia alone as many American fanboys would like Hindus to believe. In fact, almost all the daughters and sons of the leaders of Communist parties and Congress do their studies and have properties outside India. And unsurprisingly they all choose US or western Europe rather than their darling Russia for these activities because they know deep down how pathetic a socialist styled government and economy like Russia really looks like.
Many Indian Americans carefully support US agenda rather than India and actively help in maligning India’s image and sabotaging its interest. Most of the destructive ideologies have a strong backing in the west from the Indian Americans, who have completely internalized the leftist rhetoric themselves. For instance, Hindu Americans overwhelmingly support the leftists, who are the biggest anti-India force in the US. They are far more likely to identify with left wing politics than any other Asian demographics even though they form the richest immigrant group in US. They are also more than happy to jump on the bandwagon of the anti-white men gang in the west without thinking twice even though their position as being a better off group compared to whites would make their stance very hypocritical and ironic.
They are also big supporters of the feminist movement in the USA. Without any context they copy the same template of blaming white men in the west and use it in India to blame Hindu upper caste men especially Brahmins and cry about upper caste male privilege. But unlike the western whites who oppressed rest of the world during the colonial era, Hindu men never had any power in their own country for the past 200 years. It is intellectual dishonesty to apply the same model to them. Even their feminist meme in India is no different and is just a carbon copy of the ideology developed by their intellectually stunted sisters in the west.
The recent case of support for the various land lease programs for the USA by these coolies should be another issue which should raise red flags for any true Hindu patriot and the extend to which the infestation by brown coolies run inside Indian political space. These people shamelessly push the western narrative and US agenda over India. Apparently, they don’t seem to see that the biggest supporter of Pakistan is still the USA and that USA is the reason India hasn’t punished Pakistan till today. Any rational Hindu should see this as a red flag when they see Pakistan being used as condom by the Americans and they still peddle that India become a client state of the US citing some grand strategy. Of course, while it is prudent to use US for getting high tech and weaponry if it is in our advantage, it should not come at the cost of autonomy and sovereignty as is the case with many policies which these coolies advocate.
Most of the right wing intelligentsia today seem to be reformed former white coolies now coming off as turncoats. The list is long. While these people at least claim to have reformed, the coolies working for New York Times and Washington Post keep peddling the western narratives for their jobs and bread. These people pimp their motherland and their own community for the bread crumbs their white masters throw at them and for advancing quickly in their careers. They bark when their masters ask them to bark and bite when asked to bite without using their own brain. While legitimate criticism should be welcomed from any person, agenda driven nonsense to break India should not be tolerated and almost all of these vile pimps do nothing more than useless propaganda.
For instance, the coverage of rapes in India by both the Indian American coolies writing for left wing western media like New York Times and Guardian and the evangelist right wing western media like Washington Post should give ample evidence on the nature of their bias and reporting. If indeed the western filth and their brown coolies are really interested in saving women from rapes, should they not look at their own homes and societies where the rapes are 1000% more than India in per capita terms? The truth is that they are just playing their part of being brown coolies pushing the agenda of their white masters.
These brown coolies care so much about their careers and fame that they can sell their culture and support British even for glorifying poverty in movies. They wholeheartedly support such initiatives rather than pointing out the irony and hypocrisy of British, who are the very cause of this poverty in India. Look at how they celebrated a third grade film like Slumdog millionaire where it caricatured Indians as rapist, casteist, racist and fascists and how it took a western program like ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ to save the native poverty ridden unwashed Indian boy from slums.
While Non-Aligned Movement(NAM) was a big failure and India ended up embracing USSR on most policies, this time India should not fall into the same trap. The brown coolies want India to be a side-kick of US, which should be avoided at all costs. The way forward is to give issue based support and milk the system rather than fall for irrational love for any country. This would only be possible when India stops wholesale import of destructive western ideologies sold under the garb of modernity. India and Indians need their own set of policies based on what’s good and suitable for them, not what is prescribed for them by the decaying, dying, single mother ridden putrid west. India should be the head of its own Indosphere like how it was 1000 years back, not a client of the American thugs like the brown coolies are advocating now.
The myth of “Peaceful Indian Muslim” is carefully nurtured and sustained by the fake secularism practised in India. Whenever there is an attempt by anyone to uncover this veil, there are liberals who come up with fancy theories like Islamophobia to prevent the enlightenment of Muslim masses. What can be more sad than even a well-read, intelligent person feeling that telling this truth amounts to “making Muslims feel persecuted.” Well, if a person holds wrong ideas he needs to be confronted one day or the other. Would you also say that arresting rapists is incorrect because it amounts to singling them out? As a civilized society there is a red line that no one is allowed to cross. Gloating over the massacre of kafirs is not a civilized idea to espouse, and people need to confront those who do it instead of finding excuses.
Unless Indian history textbooks tell their students about the atrocities perpetuated by Muslims on Dharmics, they will continue to look at that atrocious period as their “glorious past” — and the more they romanticize it, the more difficult they will find it to come to terms with contemporary realities. It is THIS dissonance which leads to terrorism. The killing of Hindus by Muslim invaders was not a glorious act and those who romanticize it are not civilized people.
So how to fight against this ideological terrorism? The answer is education — and not just school education but political education of the masses. The idea should be propagated on all information channels until it becomes common parlance. The reason Muslims take to terrorism is because they feel they lived a glorious past where they could kill Hindus, in contrast to the lacklustre life they are living now where they have to abide by the rules of the land instead of being rulers. Unless there is a concerted effort to challenge and defeat this idea, India will always face an existential threat from Muslims. Admission of Muslim atrocities should become the mainstream quintessential Indian thought. There are so many museums in Germany and Japan depicting the atrocities committed by their ancestors on innocent people. Every year Hollywood comes out with half a dozen movies showing how bad the Holocaust was. This is the template that India should follow. There should be museums depicting the atrocities instead of making Bollywood movies and books that eulogize Akbar and Tipu Sultan.
What ordinary Indians want is not something extraordinary. They simply want closure similar to the one that Germans and Japanese got when they admitted their mistakes. You can sing a thousand songs in the praise of moderate Indian Muslims, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
The very fact that Hindus aren’t allowed to claim Ram Mandir is a testimony to the fact that Indian Muslims don’t adhere to a more evolved and tolerant form of Islam. Ram Janmabhoomi is to Hindus what Mecca is to Muslims — there can be no negotiation on this. Hindus have already forgotten the demolition of 40,000 temples by Muslims, but if they cannot budge on even one temple then there is no chance for reconciliation. If a case is being made that Indian Muslims are more reconciliatory in nature, where is the evidence?
Celebrating that Indian Muslims are better than the rest of their ilk is a relative and subjective benchmark. From time to time we must ask ourselves whether this “relatively good” is “good enough.” A woman journalist in Mumbai was hounded into exile by the same peaceful Muslims for reposting the Charlie Hebdo cartoon while reporting about it. Now, this act might be committed by a group of 5,000 people but the thought process is not an outlier. Same goes for the thousands — 15,000 people — who thronged the funeral of their “martyr” Yakoob Memon.
The deeper you go into the rabbit hole of Muslim extremist nexus, sooner or later you will realize that it is mainstream Islam — not a fringe, not a sect, not a twisted individual — but mainstream Islam which is responsible for all problems. One can draw artificial lines to separate them into moderates and extremists virtually speaking, but the crux of the matter is that until you are willing to admit that an ideology which at its core preaches that “everyone who disagrees with us is an enemy,” this problem will never be solved.
Like the Afghan intel chief Amarullah Saleh once said: “You will keep killing the guys in the outer circle for years and patting yourself on the back but the problem won’t be solved until you have the resolve to confront the guys in the inner circle who are running the show.” He was taunting the US for killing low-level commanders in Afghanistan but not confronting Saudi Arabia. Fake seculars are doing the same by drawing a dichotomy between gun-wielding terrorists and non-gun-wielding “peaceful chaps.” Terrorism is not about weapons — it is about ideology.
Being ruthless and killing people is not the recommended path. It is actually the “head in the sand” syndrome of fake liberals which will lead India into a civil war by not acknowledging the problem. A better way is to give closure on the atrocity issue. Include lessons of anti-Hindu atrocities in history books so that both Hindus and Muslims become aware of it and have a sense of national context instead of building their own personal victimhood narratives. Muslims claim that the Babri incident was wrong, but don’t want to concede that their co-religionist invaders captured and destroyed Hindu temples. This intellectual subversion is unacceptable. There is a need to have a frank discussion where people can put everything on the table so that everyone knows each other’s history and empathizes with the other before pointing fingers.
The more the rights of Hindus the state curtails, the more Hindu anger it will fuel — the eruption of which will lead to incidents of violence, which will lead to further radicalization and polarization on both sides. The constitution mentions secularism; it is about time that Hindus taste it too. Hindus have only been smelling it from afar while Muslims relished the entire cake of secularism.
To put it in short: India needs to take concrete steps to trash the Hindu narrative and Muslim narrative and adopt a common and reconciliatory national narrative which is acceptable to both parties — only then can people find closure and achieve peace. Otherwise these issues will keep flaring up.
There is a beautiful thesis about the fundamental difference between India and Pakistan which can be summarized in one line: “the story of Pakistan is the story of the state of Pakistan, and the story of India is the story of the people of India.” It holds true for the modus operandi of all Muslim states. The moment its citizens ask for some human rights or even basic things like water and schools, the state says “the nation is under threat and you are asking for things? You are not a true Muslim!” That is how Muslim states keep the dreams of their population suppressed. The very definition of a “true Muslim” has been fundamentally crafted in such a way that the individual is supposed to selflessly sacrifice for the survival of the Ummah dream — and because of this feudal definition, the individual will never have any rights for himself. This feudal system will eventually collapse, no doubt about it. But will the Indian state ever tell this real story to Indian Muslims and aid them in bursting this bubble?
Exhibit A: A bunch of Naxals were going to have a screening of anti-national propaganda — the institute didn’t allow them to do so. When they tried to cause trouble, the institute put their foot down and asked them to vacate the premises. This is the best way to solve the problem — nip it in the bud before it becomes a full-fledged anti-national lobby group like Jamia and JNU. The Central government is going to take away the minority status of Jamia and AMU. There is no need for taxpayer money to be spent on Jihadi institutions so they could indulge in their little anti-national circlejerks. If minorities want to run minority institutions, let them fund it with their own money. India is a secular nation and it cannot be seen as favouring any particular religion. Next, India should stop paying Haj subsidies — why? Because India is a secular nation. The state has already stopped pampering the FTII Naxals and they have been asked to collect their leaving certificates and stop being a burden on the taxpayer. Taxpayer-funded institutions cannot be used for anti-national purposes.
The solution to these types of problems: stop treating anti-nationals with kid gloves.
The same treatment should be meted out to all communities, especially those who fraudulently claim to be peaceful. The reason they love sickularism is because it allows them to be a parasite on Hindu tax money. If India starts following the French model of secularism, these hypocrites will get straightened within no time. No Burqa, no Haj subsidies and no reservations.

Secularism cannot be a Hindu burden alone under this version. Hindu secularism must be reciprocal and proportional to Muslim secularism. It should not be compared with “ideal secularism” but should be compared with how much ground Muslims have ceded in the secularism department.
Many people will like to see India becoming a truly secular nation, which it clearly isn’t right now. At the moment, there are a lot of core issues which will continue to give acidity to Hindus unless the status quo is changed. For example:
Muslims are given autonomy over their religious institutions and donations. On the other hand, Hindu temples are usurped by the government.
Haj is given subsidy while Amarnath Yatra is taxed.
Ram Mandir is being presented as a petty real estate dispute despite it being the holiest place in Hinduism. Ram Mandir is to Hindus what Mecca is to Muslims.
The pettiness shows in the fact that Muslims are contesting that land tooth and nail despite that land being of no significance to them religiously — this is being done just to spite Hindus. One can understand if the quarrel was about a piece of property which was religiously significant for both religions, like the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. But this is not the case here. Ram Mandir was, in fact, one of the 40,000 temples which Muslim invaders destroyed to persecute the native Hindu population. The Hindu community holds no grudges against them for those 40,000 temples and have forgiven them unilaterally in the interest of peaceful co-existence — despite Muslims never having expressed remorse for the atrocities committed against Hindus. Instead of taking into consideration all those steps taken by Hindus in the direction of reconciliation, if Muslims show their petty-mindedness by not wanting to budge on even one temple, then many Hindus will legitimately re-evaluate whether Muslims genuinely do want peaceful coexistence at all.
Reconciliation cannot be a one-way street where Hindus keep making sacrifices while Muslims keep gnawing at their core interests and lecture them on secularism. This gives rise to a legitimate resentment against secularism as it is being practised, to the detriment of Hindus. Unfortunately Muslims in India still have that Mughal mindset where they think that secularism is a tax that only Hindus have to unilaterally pay towards Muslims — i.e. Jizya-2 — and Muslims have to do nothing except relish the fruits of Hindu secularism. Muslims think secularism is an exclusively Hindu burden, which is evident from their various stances ranging from refusal to sing national songs to saluting the flag based on religious doctrine. They must realize that both communities have to take one step each to work towards a secular nation — it is not an exclusively Hindu burden.
The longer Muslims feign ignorance about these issues, the more incidents like Babri will occur when Hindu anger will inevitably erupt. No one wants to live as a second-class citizen in their own country, humiliated by a minority which shamelessly proclaims that secularism is against Islam and claims to have no obligation to abide by secular values. Remember how Kashmiri Pandits were slaughtered as all those champions of secularism conveniently kept quiet while common Hindus helplessly watched in horror. The longer India ignores this problem, the more Hindus will walk over the fence and join the extreme right.
In 2002, sixty innocent Hindu saints were burnt alive in a train and the resulting riot resulted in the death of 250 more Hindus — still the secular media calls it an “anti-Muslim riot,” completely ignoring the deaths of Hindus. Hindus cannot be expected to never respond when provoked. Fact is Hindus can’t keep playing the role of a punching bag to get a secularism certificate from Muslims or the so-called intelligentsia.
If the government doesn’t protect their interests then Hindus will have no option left but to arm themselves to keep their families safe. Hindus have been killed with impunity since the Mughal era and it cannot continue forever. Nowhere does it say in the constitution that Hindus have to be secular. Secularism is the responsibility of the state towards its subjects, not that of Hindus towards other faiths. For too long Hindus have been paying this unilaterally enforced Jizya under the twisted secularism that is followed in India. But no more!
This unilateral imposition of sickularism on Hindus is nothing but a forced manifestation of the white man’s burden (aka Joshua Project) contextualized for the Indian sub-continent.
The peaceful Indian Muslim myth is a fairytale that has been perpetuated by elitist Hindu liberals. It is one of those myths which is bought wholesale by both the left and the right. But sadly like any other fairytale, it is not based on any facts. Look at the nature of political Islam from 1920 to 2016 and you will find that nowhere has it been more treacherous and lethal than in the Indian subcontinent. There are Islamic political movements in the Middle East too — there was the Baath party in Iraq, Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and various other groups — but none of them led to the treacherous partition of a nation the way it did in India. In fact, claiming that Muslims of the subcontinent are peaceful is the Hindu way to hide the shameful past of being pounded by the Muslims.
The worst assumption one could make is that Indian Muslims are different from their Pakistani counterparts. Why so? Do they follow a different book? Obviously not. Go to any foreign nation and observe — the moment a Muslim from the subcontinent sets his foot on foreign land, he immediately severs his cultural roots and gets connected to the global Islamic political movements there. Just to give a small example, there are many Change.org petitions about protecting Indian interests — how many Indian Muslims do you see participating in those? How many NRI Muslims do you see walking in rallies on the streets of the US or UK to speak in favour of India? None. The moment they go there, they immediately connect their roots with the Ummah — and subsequently you will find many Indian Muslims walking in rallies for Palestine, Lebanon and Kashmir. They whole-heartedly support anti-west, anti-Israel and anti-India (basically anti-kafir) coalitions.
The Ummah mentality of the Muslims of the subcontinent has not gone away — in fact, it has only strengthened with the onset of the internet and other communication channels. Wherever there are Muslims, there is always a problem. Don’t give more credit to someone just because they happened to be born in a certain geographical part of the world. They themselves don’t care about this geography, because they believe that international borders are artificial barriers which stop Muslims from linking to form a united Ummah. Islam is not a race — it is an ideology, and unless you are making a claim that Indian Muslims have a different Quran than other Muslims (which they obviously don’t), the peaceful Indian Muslim argument holds no water.
An ideology at whose core lies antagonism against non-believers cannot be an inclusive one, no matter how much PR spin you try to give it. A lot of those who claim Indian Muslims to be more peaceful than the rest of the world are subconsciously linking it with Sufism. Even Akbar, who was under the influence of Sufi saints, killed 6 lakh Hindus. In fact, all the Muslim rulers who committed atrocities on Hindus had Sufis in their cabinet. And still some people think that Sufism is peaceful Islam.
The very fact that Hindus aren’t allowed to claim Ram Mandir is a testimony to the fact that Indian Muslims don’t adhere to a more evolved and tolerant form of Islam claimed by many. The thought process is the same as that of the invaders. Ram Mandir issue is not a real estate dispute and cannot be looked at from that angle. It is a much deeper issue of constitutional violation of the religious rights of Hindus in an allegedly secular nation which allegedly guarantees religious freedom. Ram Janmabhoomi is to Hindus what Mecca is to Muslims — there can be no negotiation on this. The fact that we are stuck in negotiations reflects that Indian Muslims have in fact NOT given up their ideological terrorism which stems from their need to dominate and persecute Hindus wherever they can. Reconciliation is a two-way street where both parties agree to walk one step each and meet in the middle. The iconoclasm of Indian Muslims is written all over the Ayodhya issue and is impossible to ignore.
Then there is another pet theory peddled around by Islam apologists according to which economic progress will lead to less radicalization — implying by corollary that poverty leads to terrorism. This has been categorically proved to be false. A lot of people involved in Jihadi activities are upper middle class, educated people. Take a look at the Indian boys who went to fight for ISIS. They were working in MNCs with a salary of 12 lakh per annum — more than what an average Indian earns. An average ISIS fighter earns a salary of 800$ a month. If money was the motivating factor to become a terrorist, surely many poor people would have agreed to join these groups for even 80$ a month, given that 60% of the world lives in poverty. Why didn’t all those poor people join them? Because people with a sane moral compass stay away from such ideologies even in the face of abject poverty.
Osama bin Laden was a billionaire. But that did not stop him from taking to extremism. Extremism is a political ideology — an idea which transcends social and economic class barriers. Shah Rukh and Amir Khan have no shortage of money, but they still indulge in Jihadi propaganda. How much money do you think the government needs to give them to stop propagating those ideas? How much money do you think would Hafiz Saeed take so that he magically stops being a terrorist?
Money is orthogonal to the issue of terrorism — it is a facilitator but not the driving force. The problem of ideological extremism is not going to go away by just throwing money at it. It is like throwing food at a wolf and expecting him to magically start behaving like a domesticated dog. He will eat the food but still continue to remain a wolf and your life is still under threat because you haven’t solved the core problem. The core problem is that unlike other fascist ideologies like Nazism and other forms of imperialism, Islam never underwent any reform because no one ever dared to tell them that. Germans today acknowledge Nazism was evil because their history books told them about the horrors it perpetuated. Islam has never been told that the atrocities it perpetuated were wrong — so instead of undergoing reform, it continues to live in its own merry world assuming that period to be “glorious.”
So Hindus should stop patting themselves on the back and giving a peaceful certificate to sub-continental Muslims. The history of Indian Muslims is far from peaceful. Even if one forgets pre-independence riots, in the post-independence period Muslims have already shown what they are capable of by throwing out Kashmiri Pandits from the valley — which was anything but peaceful. They were able to achieve this ethnic cleansing while fighting against the might of the Indian state machinery. The only hurdle in the achievement of this goal of dar-ul-Islam in the rest of the country is the fact that Hindus still have demographic majority, which is slowly but steadily slipping away in many regions. The ethnic cleansing of minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh should be a wake-up call for all those who comfortably prefer to ignore this demographic reality.
What is then the solution to this problem? The solution can be found — but the first step is to acknowledge that there is no such entity called “Peaceful Indian Muslim.” Once most Hindus acknowledge the existence of this problem, only then can solutions be found.
One of the biggest attacks against Hindus and Hindutva politics in India is about how it is Brahministic in nature and detrimental to the well being of the average Hindu, overwhelming majority of whom are non-Brahmin.
This is consciously cultivated in the minds of the average Hindu voter that pro-Hindu policies are inherently Brahminic and that only Brahmins will get benefit from it. Not only it is far from reality, it is pathetically anti-lower caste and casteist in its outlook, by associating pro-Hindu politics with upper castes as if lower caste Hindus are not Hindus.
The article argues that many prominent Marxist and Islamist apologists come from Brahmin or other upper-caste backgrounds, citing political and intellectual figures from Kerala, West Bengal and the national Left.
It contrasts these figures with Ambedkar, arguing that despite his fierce criticism of Hindu society he remained committed to India and chose Buddhism rather than Islam or Christianity.
The article also argues that socialism and caste rigidity share structural similarities because both can limit occupational mobility and keep existing elites in control.
Neither Marxism nor Islam is about caste reform but rather about further solidifying caste rigidity and consolidating power.
The conclusion is that accusations of Brahminism against pro-Hindu politics should be turned back on the Marxist establishment, whose own leadership and institutions remain dominated by upper-caste elites.
Caste is like “Brahmastra” or nuclear weapon in the hands of Marxists which sends every Hindu on the defensive in case they try to dominate any debate. But caste is not mentioned in any Hindu religious texts anywhere and varna system is not the same as caste system. The current caste system as we now know it was a विकृति (degeneration) introduced into our system by foreign invaders. This process was much more extensive and spanned a long duration of time which can only be understood by studying history. So, how to get off the hook next time when you get entangled regarding caste system with a Marxist/Chrislamist? The first is to not let them associate caste with varna system to justify it through Hinduism and second, read a bit of history on how castes system got frozen over time. It is important to know some examples to emphasize the second point.
For example- the Chamar (Mahar) caste was created by the Mughals to humiliate the dispossessed Hindus in the society who couldn’t pay Jaziya tax. The rich Hindus who could pay the tax were left alone but the poor ones were ill treated, even after converting to Islam they had secondary status and were made to live in ghettos (this is why you will find leather tanning places like Dharavi are still ghetto communities). They were made to slaughter cows and tan leather, just to make them dissociate from their earlier traditions of cow worship. There were many such castes created then. The British came and codified it and made it even worse.
In the late 1800s (or you can say few years before 1900), the British introduced a law to make it compulsory for everyone to write their caste in every government document like school admission, banking etc. That started the use of caste as a political tool of identification, organization and basically to support their divide-and-rule politics.
When encountered with this problem of ‘caste system’, especially if challenged by Marxists, don’t try to defend it, otherwise you will fall right into the trap of Chrislamists. Understand that they don’t give a damn about any explanation. They have managed to conflate the caste system with the varna system mentioned in the Vedas by lose associations, allusions and innuendo. Just state that Caste and Varna are not the same, because that’s what the truth is. Making half baked arguments about economic system allow Chrislamists to create a strawman to beat Hindus with. So don’t step into that trap. The caste system was in fact a transposition of the inherently discriminatory British class system due to their inherent biases. They are to blame for it, it is not something that Hindus should get defensive about.
The Hindu Varna system was fluid until it was corrupted by outsiders. Remember, we were enslaved for 1000 years. This settles everything:
Also and more importantly, if caste system is Hindu thing, then how does it exist in Christianity and Muslim, even after conversion? Are these so called perfect religions not able to wash away the imperfections even after converting evil Hindus to their religion? There are separate Churches/Mosques for Dalit Christians and Dalit Muslims. Well, if it exists in all religions then it is orthogonal to Hinduism and has nothing to do with it. One can’t claim it to be derived from Hindu theology. It is a societal problem caused due to slavery of 1000 years and consequent obfuscations.
The concept of Brahma (and other gods in our texts) in Hinduism is not to be taken literally as a magic being which does magic. It is merely a metaphor to serve as a vehicle to convey an abstract idea to the reader. What you call ‘ocean’ in English is referred to as Varuna in Sanskrit. Both of them allude to the same entity, which is the ocean, but by anthropomorphizing it, it allows the story teller to convey more complicated concepts in a poetic and fine tuned manner which appeals to human imagination because nothing can be more complicated than human behaviour. Giving human attributes to natural phenomena, allows the story teller to add finer nuances, the complexity of which can only be matched by the complexity of human behaviour. It allows the building up of abstract concepts on top of one another to blossom into a more comprehensive philosophical idea.
For example, if someone says Varuna had a fight with Pashupatinath (god of forests), it doesn’t literally mean that two magic beings fought a WWF match. It is probably trying to tell you that there was a tsunami which engulfed a forest. This is merely a mode of communication. If you have seen Life Of Pi, he says it in the end “I told you two stories, one where my ship sunk and I was rescued by fishermen, other where I was stranded with a tiger on a magical island with meerkats and both the stories narrate the same incident; I just replaced the human characters with animals, that doesn’t make my story false. So, which one is the better story?” and the guy says “the one with the animals; that’s the better story”. Same is the nature of religion.
The stories are not to be taken literally, there is a certain essence it is trying to convey, which one should seek. The reason they have been compiled in the form of stories is because it becomes easy for one generation to propagate the wisdom enshrined in them to the next generation in a non-dogmatic fashion. When Hindus pray to gods, it’s not that they think some magic is coming out of the statue, it is the idea which the god represents in the narrative which they are praying. Basically, we don’t pray to idols, we pray to ideals. For example Ram is called Purushottam (the perfect man with a balanced world view), so people pray/aspire to those qualities by proxy of praying to the god. The idol and temple is only there to help ordinary people concentrate and to keep the stories/wisdom alive so that it can be passed on to the next generation (think of it like a museum). Those who have better concentration need not pray to gods and can simply make themselves useful to the society through karma (doing your duties, doctor, engineer, soldier, teacher etc).
Now coming back to Varnas. The Varna system was merely an observation of the four types of human tendencies based on their level of participation in society. These tendencies exist in all humans in all societies. There are some who are lazy and some who are altruists, some who are willing to give their life for the country, and some who will steal and murder. The Varna system is merely an observation of how humans behave. It is not a codified system and it says that everyone is born Shudra, but then everyone has to elevate themselves according to their potential. So basically if basically there are 4 kids in a house and one kid cracks IIT and other doesn’t study and fails even 10th class, then the first kid gets more respect and the failed kid gets less respect in society, even though they were born equal. What the Varna system says is that the respect you get will be proportional to how useful you are to the society. If you contribute more (like soldier dying for the country), you get more respect, if you simply slack off then don’t expect any respect. It is not that Brahma created the system, that is how humans are. Brahma is just a metaphor for the universe. So when someone says Brahma made 4 Varnas what they are poetically trying to say is “there are 4 kinds of tendencies in the universe”. How come there is never any record of such people anywhere on this earth other than some parts of India?
There is, but it is simply known by different names so it doesn’t register in our brain as a ‘Hindu’ thing. There are many religions born out of the same ethos which Hinduism espouses, these religions were spread by Hindu philosophers to other lands, over time the wisdom got translated in native languages (Chinese, Indonesian etc) so they refer to those concepts with different names in their own language. “The path”, “the way” are basically Chinese terms for what we call Dharma in Sanskrit. There is a near complete interchangeability between all their concepts with ours, with, of course, Chinese names. What we call the Varna here, the other Asian countries refer to as the family honour code. If you do good then earn more goodwill and respect for your your clan (kula/ gotra/ varna), that is why Chinese and Japanese men would want to die in war, to add to the Karma points of their kula (clan). Yin and Yang correlate to good Karma and bad Karma.

Indonesia has its own local flavours of Hinduism whereby their university emblems and currency bears images of Ganesha.
There are similar parallels to Hindu concepts all over the world, with different pseudonyms, that is why it feels as if it exists only in a small part of India. It is actually a universal phenomenon. As for the Varna system in particular, you can find those four types of people even in western societies. The people who are most useful to society are the ones who create the most value, and therefore paid higher salary and get more respect in their society. Their definition of ‘adding value’ has simply been transposed by an economic criteria (instead of a Dharmic/social criteria) but the system of ‘incremental respect’ is the same there.
Saudi Arabia, which is the beacon of the purest form of Islam, considers non-Arab Muslims (like the ones in the subcontinent) to be Hind-Al-Masakeen, which means ‘the lowly slaves of Hind’. How is it that this religion, which claims to be a champion of equality under one God and offers liberation from the allegedly discriminatory Hindu social order, differentiate between two different groups of the same religion? Is that not a caste system in itself? And if it is, why aren’t the liberals raising their voices against it? But we all know why!!
It is unfortunate that in India important news on economics are usually hidden deep inside the regular newspapers and crucial laws are passed without much debate. One of the recent such news was the decision of Modi government to increase the minimum wage for contract workers to Rs. 10,000.
The article criticizes the government for not clearly explaining how the Rs 10,000 figure was determined and for invoking the Supreme Court as justification for economic policy.
The case against minimum wages goes as follows
1) Minimum wages reduce employment among unskilled workers
2) Therefore minimum wages hurt people whom it is actually supposed to help
In a surplus labour economy like India, when government imposes laws like minimum wage it makes firms less competitive by increasing their wage bill.
The article compares apparel wages in India and Bangladesh, arguing that higher labour costs have contributed to Bangladesh’s stronger export performance.
It argues that minimum wage laws help current job holders but reduce entry-level employment and discourage the formation of new firms.
The article cites research by Maloney and Mendez on Colombia, claiming that employment declined most sharply among workers earning below the minimum wage, while higher-paid workers were also affected when firms closed.
Given this evidence, the article argues that India should avoid imposing a uniform wage floor that may push workers into unemployment or into the informal sector.

Well the above paragraph, with all its inconsistencies, can be lifted up from any current publications by leftists. But this article is neither about Islamic feminism nor about west. It is rather about crab mentality of Hindu Right wing, where the flag bearers lose no chance to bring each other down whenever possible.
BJP is hardly a Hindu right wing party but for all its drawbacks, it is still the only viable option on the right. Now think of the drama that got unleashed before Modi was anointed as BJP’s PM candidate. The sulking Advani was courted by the Lutyens media to fire salvo after salvo against Modi. But media did what it was supposed to do i.e. help the Congress ecosystem, and made mountains out of molehill. The sulking patriarch on the Hindu right rather than keeping his feelings private and blessing his protégée in public, decided to play into the hands of the same media.
The dissent was crushed to a great extent by Modi but it keeps rising time and again, sometimes led by old horses who are hurt by the fact that they were ignored when crumbs of power were thrown around. The biggest failure of this season has been Arun Shourie who resorted to personal attacks against Modi and called him narcissistic and dictator in a live show hosted by Karan Thapar.
But Shourie is not the only politician/intellectual who can be accused of such mud-slinging. This mud-slinging fest is actually even more common among the intellectuals. The feud between Malhotra and Ganesh had hardly died when Talageri fired his ammo against Manasataramgini, a famous blogger on RW, questioning his views on AIT but character assassinating him in the process.
While western scholars build consensus by slightly modifying each others’ views in peer reviewed journals, the Hindus come out as clowns who don’t lose any chance to bring each other down over minor disagreements.
Since the left still controls the public narrative, the need of the hour is to keep the dissent among Hindus internal rather than publicly vocalizing it. The intellectual debate in the public sphere should be encouraged, but any personal attacks should be avoided at all costs.
There is another very important point which has slowed the growth of RW ecosystem in India. The number of retweets and endorsements by left wing portals and their contributors of their competitors’s articles far outnumber those by the RW. While Scroll and Caravan frequently endorse each other, the RW portals like Swarajya and Indiafacts hardly help each other grow.
Moral of the story- RW needs to get its act together and work cooperatively with more emphasis on the common agenda rather than for petty personal fame, ego or money. Once RW gains control of the narrative and builds a healthy ecosystem, they will get enough opportunities for back biting and mudslinging. But till then they need to suck up to each other to survive else no one can save them from their premature death at the hands of left.
