One of the newspapers highlighted about the big success of Muslims in IAS exam this year. Some 50 Muslims cleared the prestigious exam this year. This is what the article said-
But this year records of past several years were broken as nine out of 50 Muslims who cleared IAS exams secured their position in top 100 ranks.
Given that the interview and written marks for the final selected candidates is available online, YP decided to check if there is any substantial difference between Muslims and other communities. The data (first 525 ranks) reveals that Muslims on average get 13 marks more at the interview stage as compared to other communities at the interview stage.

The above figure reveals the bias at interview stage in favour of Muslims as compared to other communities. Each dot corresponds to one candidate, where x and y-axis are equal to marks scored on written and interview stage respectively by this candidate. Although, there are only 20 Muslim candidates in the first 525 ranks, but they seem to get higher grade than average on the interview.
The gray area shows 95% confidence interval and one can clearly see that at the interview stage marks are very different for Muslims and Hindus. If the two groups had same distribution statistically, then gray bands will cross at all level of written marks.
To look at how much more marks Muslims get on average, we run the following regression analysis:
Interview = β * written + Muslim + SC + ST + OBC
What does this table tell?
1. Those Muslims who are selected on average get 13 marks more than other general candidates on the interview stage. 2. SC/OBC get less marks on interview stage (6.65 and 2.60 respectively). ST candidates get 1.6 marks extra, but this result is not statistically significant. It is statistically significant only for SC candidates and they definitely get lower marks. 3. The slope β for written is negative, implying those with higher marks on written get low marks on interview stage. But this has to be interpreted carefully as those with low marks on both written as well as interview are not in this sample.
The average marks for all candidates on the interview stage are 167, with a standard deviation of around 15 marks. Since Muslims get 13 extra marks on the interview stage, they are almost getting one standard deviation extra marks than others. These 13 extra marks for Muslims means they are on average getting 8.7% higher marks than other candidates in the interview stage.
So, what should one conclude? Under Idea of India (#IOI), Muslims have the first right on resources as well as other administrative positions in India. The biggest take away from the above table is that Muslims are even above the other reserved category Hindus in the #IOI rankings. While the reserved category candidates get fewer marks on the interview stage, Muslim candidates get much-much higher.

The battle of Kharda took place in March 1795, ending up in a resounding win for the Marathas. It is notable mainly for two reasons:
1) It happened 34 years after Panipat, at which point all Maratha armies had supposedly disappeared for ever.
2) It was the last time that the Confederacy fought as one, reminiscent of Bajirao and to a lesser extent Balaji Bajirao.
Background and cause
Chauth and sardeshmukhi issues had been simmering between the Peshwa and the Nizam for quite some time. It was only their common war against Tipu sultan that had put the issue on a backburner. In 1791 though, the Marathas decided to push their demands through their envoys at Hyderabad – Govindrao Kale and Govindrao Pingle. The Nizam provided his reply under 34 documents and promised to negotiate once the war with Tipu was over.
When negotiations were reopened, the Nizam informed Govindrao Kale that the Marathas owed him two and a half crore rupees. He had also arranged for the British under Shore to arbitrate in the dispute, much to the chagrin of the Marathas. At the same time, the Nizam had augmented his army from 2 battalions, under the Frenchman Raymond, to 23 battalions.
Negotiations dragged on till 1794, with the Nizam not budging from his demands and the Marathas from theirs. Finally, the Mushir Ul Mulk at Hyderabad summoned Govindrao Kale and told him that Nana Phadnis would have to come to Hyderabad for any progress to be made. With the talks having fallen through, it was obvious that matters would have to be settled the old way.
The Nizam moves to Bidar
The Nizam of Hyderabad along with Raymond, Mushir ul Mulk and the Nawab of Kurnool etc moved his armies to Bidar by the beginning of 1795. From Bidar they proceeded to Wakigung and to the Mori Ghat, along the Manjiri river by February. The Nizam had 45,000 cavalry; 45,000 infantry and over a 100 guns at his disposal.
The Marathas coalesce at Pune
The Marathas under Sawai Madhavrao Peshwa and Nana Phadnis, prepared to meet the challenge head on. From the north, Daulatrao Shinde and Tukojirao Holkar joined the fray. From the west Gaikwad of Baroda arrived with his contingent. From the east, Raghuji Bhosale II contributed his cavalry. The loose Pindari mercenaries of Karim Khan joined in. Added to this were the contingents of Nimbalkar, Ghatge, Chavan, Pawar, Thorat, Vinchurkar, Malegaonkar, Pant Sachiv and others.
All put together, the Maratha army was close to 1,00,000 along with a hundred guns.
The clash at Kharda
Baburao Phadke was sent with an advance party to intercept the Nizam at the Mori Pass near Kharda, which he did, but ended up with heavy losses. He retreated towards the main army, hotly pursued by Raymond and his battalions. The commander in chief Parshuram Bhau Patwardhan now joined in, flanked by Shinde, Holkar’s and Bhosale’s contingents.
Very soon, war had broken out between the Nizam and the Marathas near the fort of Kharda. The drilled musketmen of Raymond clashed with those of Perron, under the Scindia. Skirmishing went on for the whole day, before both armies retired for the night.
The Marathas now played their masterstroke. Under the cover of darkness, they attacked the Nizam with guns and muskets. In the mayhem that followed, scores of his men were killed and a panic stricken Nizam retreated into the small fort at Kharda.
Marathas lay siege. Nizam comes to terms.
The Peshwa laid siege to the fort, while his Pindaries pillaged the deserted army camp. After seventeen days of holding out, by which time all cattle in the fort perished and his soldiers were also driven to starvation, the Nizam decided to come to terms. A dagger and seal was sent to the Peshwa, signalling that he was ready to accept any condition imposed on him.
The Peshwa started off by asking for the Mushir Ul Mulk, who had insulted Nana Phadnis with his rude comments. The Nizam protested, but finally had to give in. His minister was soon packed off to Pune as a prisoner.
The Nizam agreed to cede all land from Paranda fort to the Tapti river as well as fort of Daulatabad and territories which had been captured by Sadashivrao Bhau in 1760.
Further, 3 crores 10 lacs were obtained from the Nizam as tribute. 29 lac were given separately to Raghuji Bhosale. Land worth 3,00,000 annually was given to Raghuji Bhosale.
A resounding win had been scored, stamping Maratha authority on south India for one last time.

Thousands of autumns have come to pass since the time the praṇava was first uttered, and in those many years, many volumes have been written exploring even the most subtle aspects of Ṛta and Dharma.
Textual traditions have been the recordings of ancestral opinion, on how they viewed the propagation of Dharma, and these texts have given systemic support to rituals and celebrations resonating within the Indic traditions.

The entire Veda is the root-source of Dharma; also the conscientious recollection of righteous persons versed in the Veda, the practice of good and learned men, and their self-satisfaction.
The source of criticism of textual scholarship is described as two-fold
Misplaced sense of superiority
Envy
The first is explained as condescension toward people who preserve the foundations of the tradition, documenting and interpreting ancient treatises.
The article criticizes claims such as “They know the words, but not the essence,” “These were written by Great Men whose words cannot be faithfully interpreted today,” and “Hinduism transcends the written word.”
It argues that there has always been a rich commentarial tradition, so individual words and concepts can be interpreted through established disciplines such as the Vedāṅgas and Nirukta.
The article also rejects the notion that devotional movements rejected the Vedas, arguing instead that the Nāyanārs, Āḻvārs and Bhakti saints remained deeply rooted in Dharma and the Vaidika mārga.
The other source is envy. The article argues that scholarship requires the humility to learn from those who know more and to teach those who know less.
It concludes by noting that Vedic scholars have preserved critiques of the Vedas as well as rebuttals, and that serious criticism requires actually reading the texts.

The lower rung BJP leaders every now and then are known to raise the bogey of TFR (total fertility rate) and exhort Hindus to increase their fertility. No sooner are such ideas floated than the entire media gets up in arms, leading to disowning of such members and comments by top leaders.
While the left chastises the TFR brigade by citing their ill-founded fears about Muslim population explosion, the neo-liberal supporters on the right — although acknowledging the problem — fail to react because they don’t or can’t match the resolve of Muslim women, as Hindu women are not captive breeders.
But truth be told, gullible Hindus hide their personal choice of having few kids by hiding under the intellectual veneer of excess population, environment-saving, women’s empowerment and other ideas that they have been spoon-fed since independence and have taken up with great zeal like any other nouveau convert to modern memes. The national and state governments too have played their role to a large extent, hence we find open support for this government propaganda which has put the responsibility of saving the world squarely on Hindu shoulders.
But how does the TFR actually look? We present the result for the two religions from the 2011 census for different states.

A few things to notice here. First, Muslim fertility is higher in almost all states. Second, the fertility is hovering around or below 2 for most Hindus — below replacement level. So Hindu population in these states will actually fall in the future. Third, it is not that Muslims are having too many children — it is just that Hindus are having too few children, which allows Muslims to keep the same percentage fertility gap (the only thing which matters for population share growth).
Another important point to note is that the percentage difference is much higher in some states which are important demographically — like Assam and West Bengal. The surprise addition is Haryana, with the highest TFR difference between the two communities. The current Muslim share of Haryana’s population is very low and so it would not impact right now, but if the trends continue Haryana too will join the list of west UP districts. Delhi was already surrounded by high Muslim population in west UP, Alwar and Mewat. If Haryana keeps going on this trajectory, the encirclement of Delhi will soon be complete.
But what is causing this great fall in Hindu fertility?

It is the urban Hindu who is showing the same trend everywhere — his fertility is hanging around 1.5 level. In some states it has gone down to 1, like in West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh. The low Hindu fertility in urban areas generates a much higher percentage difference between the two religions. Rural areas, though better than urban areas, are still lagging behind Muslim TFR.

While Assam and West Bengal are undergoing big demographic change and everyone is aware of the influx of illegal Bangladeshis there, no one wants to talk about the elephant in the room — the TFR difference between two communities in these two states. The percentage TFR gap is around 80% in Assam and 45% in West Bengal. It is easy to blame the illegals but one cannot deny the low fertility of Hindus in these regions as a big part of the problem. While Kerala and west UP would not have as many illegals as Assam or West Bengal, they too are facing a similar problem — and the question is why? It’s the TFR, stupid.

Nature is ruthless to those who under-breed. In short secularism, is nothing but manifestation of the next upgrade on the standard Abrahamic software first developed in Jooland. Whether it is Abrahamism part-4 or 5 is immaterial. Reports are emerging from social media that Kumar Sundaram of a commie/liberal propaganda portal called India Resists has sexually and mentally harassed a girl who worked for him in his propaganda platform. One of the girls from his close coterie has come out to level charges against him for leaking her private pictures with him to her family members.
When faced with the charges, Sundaram first tried to deflect them. But when it did not seem to work, he tried to diffuse the situation by seeking an apology.
Liberals/Commie respect for women is a plain simple lie
Whenever a story of sexual harassment or mistreatment of women comes in the internet, it is the liberals and commies who come out of their caves supposedly in defense of such women, often demonizing the whole class of men and society in the process.
This incident gives a sneak peak into the typical life style and character of liberals/progressives and how pathetic they are in their private lives- have no sense of morals or principles and their typical attitude is whatever satisfies them sexually or otherwise is fine, no matter what the consequences of such actions for others.
This kind of moral bankruptcy is not limited to this one guy or girl but is even reflected in the type of people who visit their site and are their followers.
Coming back to the crime here, sharing someone’s pictures without consent is a big crime. Under the IT act, various charges can be pressed against the criminal, which in this case is Sundaram and he seems to have publicly accepted his crime.
It will be wise if at least now, the women in India learn from what kind of creatures these liberals who push for such degeneracy are.
That people cheat on their spouses is nothing new.
But that does not mean we promote cheating.
While some of us ordinary people are still discussing early vs. delayed marriage as a healthy way of keeping a society together, and dealing with emotional, physical and psychological needs of a human beings without ending up with a society that is socially chaotic, some of the mahanubhavas of modernity have already moved to post-marriage cheating (for example here), as a way of, guess what? ‘Being independent, and satisfying one’s bodily needs.’, thereby placing sexual and emotional needs linked with sexuality —above all others. The problem of course is in understanding. Emotional needs have a wide range and are not fulfilled only by a spouse or a sexual partner, by many people throughout our lives- parents, friends, family, colleagues and even the neighborhood sabzi wali or our hair dresser who listens to our woes now and then. The wider the range of people who fulfill our emotional needs, the more secure, stable and happy is our life. One behaves as our parent and evokes a child in us, other evokes a parent.
This article is a point to point response/reflection on the article titled, ‘Why Indian women cheating more is actually a good thing‘. And some references will be made to another article promoting degeneracy, titled ‘I was a married woman once and I don’t regret cheating on my husband’. Put together, these articles are a specific kind of thinking that holds one aspect of life much higher than others. They are written from an understanding that an individual functioning in their own interest, as in the case of extra marital affair, is not harming anyone. The classic individual vs. society debate. However, the rationale used to explain and justify such behavior is flawed.
Beginning with the article by SREEMOYEE PIU KUNDU, (Why Indian women cheating more is actually a good thing), we summarize its main points, and refute/provide reflection on what is being implied.
Points/Implications 1: Married men propose to younger (preferably single) women.
Our Comments: Nothing new, not right, but it happens. Mainly, indicates the difference between male and female nature. Even in animal kingdom, it is mostly the male that does the mating dance. Does that call for or justify women cheating? Especially when nature of women is different. Women, even research suggests, look for emotional intimacy more than physical intimacy. The latter is contingent upon the former. So, while they can be initiated by women, affairs are in the long run harmful for them.
Points/Implications 2: Ashley Madison’s presence and its terms and conditions (privacy, confidentiality to its users) imply that this phenomenon is not just widespread or rampant, but actually a ‘norm’ lurking behind ‘societal norms’ and mores to express itself.
Our Comments: First, this is the problem with social science, it looks at numbers, and how large or small they are without understanding how statistics are to be used, what does it mean to have a representative sample, why is it important to not only have methodology properly explained, but the need for replication of studies to establish any idea of ‘truth or even a pattern’. Not to mention that studies done in one context cannot and should not be applied to another. The fact that global values have been imposed via media for the last century should be considered. It is a fact the as families disintegrate, which happened long ago in the west, media of all forms has been the educator of values, rather than parents, family members and teachers. And media’s values converge at going as low as possible to maximize its profit. And more importantly, it is critical to recognize that changes in society are not always linear. And not all newness is good, just as not ‘old ideas’ are viable.
Points/Implications 3: A study for 2013 is quoted to establish or forward a theory that 40% of marriages had one or both spouses admitting to either physical or emotional infidelity. The idea definitely is to imply that this is normal and more people than not, are cheating on their spouses. Btw, 40% is not even half, so, still a small number of population.
Our Comments: For initial comments refer to our comments on Point 2 above. And then, please spare us the details of these studies that are never clear about their methodology and never emphasize that their studies cannot be applied world wide or for all times.More importantly, it is always important to remember that trends are just trends. That they fluctuate, they go back to was before—always. Because these mahanubhavas, who write such articles are usually thinking in terms of a world with a short history—and that societal changes are linear. Btw, how many people in India even have internet to actually register on Ashley Madison? And isn’t you sample already biased from the population because it will be only the degenerates who will register on such websites first. Furthermore, just because a few thousand people state something does not make it a norm. And for those interested there are enough studies on why affairs are damaging to emotional health, especially women. And, that those who divorce, with the exception of physically abusive marriages, are not necessarily happier than before divorcing or cheating on their spouses. And the emotional impact on men is more adverse compared to women, since the latter are not as emotionally strong as the former (again if we were to study the way nature designed us, we might be more enlightened about such issues).
Points/Implications 4: And how could they leave out the Sita when talking about fidelity/infidelity. So, the word ‘Sitahood’ is thrown out there as being derogatory.
Our Comments: A simple question, what is a woman seeking through her affair? Emotional intimacy, physical intimacy, right? And in the words of the author ‘At the heart of it all, is desire. Someone who tells you that you’re the greatest thing and wants to spend his life with you. Now they don’t even want to look at you, touch you, talk to you. But you have economic stability — a home, kids, family. You don’t want to walk away from it just because you feel less desired…” People think, “I’ll just put myself out there in an anonymous way.” They want to rekindle that object of desire. You’ll often find women seeking this attention by Facebooking past lovers. They want to rekindle that object of desire.¨ And rather than open up to the partner or take responsibility for her own actions, she does so through an affair.
She has social security, respect, and stability in society- that single women do not enjoy, but we are to uphold her choices because she caters to her lowest kind of needs.
One of the problem with such stories and analysis is that they place too much importance on physical intimacy without understanding that emotional and physical intimacy go hand in hand. The main organs in this satisfaction are our brain and heart. Not private parts. Affairs with their secrecy and stress that they come with just do not compensate for a bad marriage. Another problem is that these articles are usually written from a woman’s perspective as if a woman is never non-responsive to her husband and that a man can feel just as stifled in a marriage. A Clear case of ‘desire without responsibility’ whether that desire is for social stability or satisfying bodily urges. But most importantly, ‘There is no accountability!’ Why an affair, why not break the stable-economically secure relationship, and test the support that a life based purely on sexual satisfaction provides?’
Sita, though often seen as a victim, was very much a master of her choice, she chose desire and companionship of her husband, while Urmila chose to stay away from Lakshman. Sita is very clear about who she loves, wants and respects. No amount of gold from Lanka will change her mind, no amount of wealth and comforts will shift her affections away from her forest dwelling husband. It is not sacrifice when she denies Ravana, it is a very assertive act of declaring that none else but Shri Rama will have her heart, body and soul. Sitahood, then in a true sense must imply a woman of character, strength, and fortitude. A woman who cannot be manipulated, a woman who is willing to renounce her royal life to be with the man she loves and respects. ‘Sitahood’, the essence of being Sita then must always be synonymous with character, substance and a will to assert one’s self, within the context of fidelity and nothing else.
Points/Implications 5: Again a survey by Ashley Madison is used, this time conducted in India, and printed in The Times of India–(surprise –surprise) states that ‘76 per cent of Indian women and 61 per cent of men don’t even consider infidelity as a sin or immoral anymore. Responses were collected from 75,321 respondents – 80 per cent being married – across ten cities. 81 per cent of men and 68 per cent of women confessed that their affairs had a positive impact on their marriage. Our Comments: Please, please for the n-th time, spare us this reliance of studies to propagate your degenerate ways. First refer to comments and reflections made about such studies under Point 2 & 3. Next, please ponder on what is said about ‘Not trusting the studies promoting the funder or funder’s ideas.’ Its like Pepsi and Coke conducting a study on harmful effects of milk on children and establish that children should be weaned off breast milk by feeding them cola-colored soft drinks!! That 50,000 women signed up for a site promoting an ‘extra marital affair’ in a country where there are near 500 million women, and in a time when any Tom, Dick and Harry or paid volunteers can sign up for such a site, means zilch!!
Ofcourse, it must be mentioned by Ms Kundu that it was arranged marriage that was the reason for boredom and frustration in a marriage. But we must ask, why would a site like Ashley Madison be popular in the west then? As mentioned earlier there is no recipe for finding emotionally compatible a life partner. Arranged marriage can bring you a long lasting satisfactory marriage just as much as love marriage can vomit back all the love you professed to each other within a few months of marriage–and of course vice-versa. Readers must be reminded that though not everyone believes in it, two of the many things matched in jyotish were sexual and emotional compatibility of the couple. In a culture where marriage results supposedly after a passionate affair or a decade long live-in relationship–arranged marriage is looked down upon. But extra marital affairs– no where in the world— are honored or given the same place as a long standing marriage. Even Hillary Clinton, the emissary of feminists chose to stay with her dear Bill despite his transgressions. Instead like a true jealous wife, she tried, quite successfully to destroy Monica Lewinsky, a woman nearly half her age.
So, to make extra marital relationships a taboo actually means that the collective is being honored, and that the individual should remember that its security and even the right to be an individual can only be granted within the context of a ‘society, a collective’.
Then, there is an implication that women have only been decorative pieces in bedroom (author’s words)—which is deceptively narrow way of looking at married life. Women were never just show pieces, but Annapurnas and Laxmis and Saraswatis, a much bigger role than our modernity can ever assign to them. Women have been major decision makers even though they were not necessarily the breadwinners. After a long- hard-day’s work, bedroom is where the couple took decisions about their children, their parents, their own futures. To reduce a married life to sexual activity or sexual satisfaction is to ignore the purpose of marriage. Besides considering the trajectory of one’s life, it is expected that people’s interests would change and evolve. With time, needs move from being bodily to spiritual, a couple then enjoys each other’s company through intellectual exchange. And if a couple has not arrived there, then the problem lies with the kind of relationship and cannot be sorted out through an affair emotional or physical.
There is a deeper human need for consistency and continuity (of people) which in a long committed marriage develops into a healthy intimacy—based on interdependency. There is —a need to nurture others, and hence the need for a progeny, a need to feel a part of larger community and hence celebrations, festivals and rituals. Emotional and physical intimacy work in tandem and one takes precedence over the other in various stages of a couple’s life. This focus only on sexuality is a narrow view of what we are. Beyond bodies we are vast consciousness that carries the knowledge of human experience in its pores. Our bodies– as gross as they are—strive towards a poetic experience of life, and that poetic experience does not result from affairs and broken families, it results from having gone through the ups and downs, through emotionally close and emotionally distant periods, through times of extreme passion and through times of extreme emotional pain. No studies can ever comprehend human experience in its entirety.
On a closing note, we would like to stress our disagreement with this culture of promoting promiscuity and dropping shame associated with adultery, by stressing that many studies that have negatively influenced western societies, under the guise of ‘studies and experts say this’ are now being criticized.
Studies that rely on self-revelation as a way of ‘finding data’ cannot always be relied upon, for there is no way to gauge who is telling the truth or not, what is perception and what is reality? One such case was of a famous sexologist Alfred Kinsey, whose Kinsey reports unleashed sexual revolution in the United States. His studies which, are said to have been initiated due to his own sexual repression, made it seem that his data set, which was not a probability sample, spoke for the whole country. The problem, as states Dina Spector was that ‘Kinsey sometimes interviewed sex criminals and failed to report their behavior to the police, risking public safety for the sake of scientific data.’
In the process Kinsey also applied many of the deviant behaviors to normal people. Furthermore, not only did Kinsey use the data from his most notorious a sexual omnivore, “whose history of sexual encounters with men, women, boys, girls, animals and family members took 17 hours to record,” but ‘according to the NYT, Not only did Kinsey fail to report this man, but it was also later revealed that he pretended that ample data taken from this source — including extensive documentation of the sexual response of young boys — came from multiple sources.’
But none of these discrepancies were brought to public’s notice much after the damage had been done to the American society.
We would be very cautious using studies to justify moral degeneracy as the norm that stabs as the root of family, which remains the foundation of any healthy society. The readers would be wise to remember Judith Reisman’s, author of the 1990 book “Kinsey, Sex and Fraud” words, where she holds Kinsey responsible for the breakup of American family and states that his legacy to the US is “the skyrocketing incidence of all the social pathologies afflicting us today: divorce, abortion, sexual promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, illegitimate births, cohabitation, pornography, homosexuality, sadomasochism, rape, child molestation, sexual crimes of all types, family breakup, endemic violence, etc.”

Yogi Adithyanth ji has been made CM of Uttar Pradesh despite the whining and bitching of the mainstream media and the anti-Hindu intellectual cabal. His elevation to Chief Ministership has invited rudali even from the paisa wala/true secular types of the Right wing in India. So, it seems BJP has done something right. Significance of this appointment for the Hindu society and its future should not go unnoticed even if the BJP intellectuals and spokespersons don’t seem to have the backbone to openly admit what BJP has done with this appointment.
Significance 1 : Burning the Anti Hindu journalist/intellectual cabal
For long the pseudo-intellectual brown coolies of the west had defined itself as the sole guardian of Idea of India, which could roughly translate from absence of any real Hindu history prior to invasion of India by Muslims and British to secularism (including all of its stupid variations) which closes down Hindu schools while forcing Hindu students to study in madrassas and convent schools or loot Hindu temples to pay for the Hajj and Christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem subsidy. Nobody appointed these coolies to define what India is or her interests should be. These are the relics of British/Muslim imperialism in India and slavery to failed Soviet communism from post-Independence period. The job of these coolies from British time is to provide justification for the successive anti-Hindu Congress governments for screwing the Hindu population.
By fielding Hindu candidates in all the 403 constituencies in a state where Muslims are 20%, BJP had said a big F*** Y** to the secular cabal and their pseudo-intellectual wanking about Idea of India. Sorry but “Tunde Kebabs” is not Idea of India. By electing 325 MLAs out of these 403 candidates, people of UP had proven that all these pseudo intellectuals are relics of India’s colonial past and are in no way representative of Indian aspirations today. The number of muslim MLAs have been reduced to a historic low of 25 in this election. As if to rub salt in the injury, BJP has now appointed Yogi ji, a Hindu no-nonsense nationalist, as the CM of the state and predictably, the intellectual slaves of the west and Dhimmis in media and secular parties underwent a tremendous meltdown. This is a paradigm shift in politics with respect to Hindu society and marks a beginning of a stage where shouting secularism is actually becoming synonymous with anti-Hindu slogan and will help Hindu parties and Hindu card playing politicians’ efforts.
Significance 2: Burning the Secularist parties
For a long time the Secular parties like Indian National Congress and its caste based clones like Samajwadi party and Bahujan Samaj Party were the ones dictating the tone of politics in India with all of them being overtly or covertly anti-Hindu, except towards their own castes. For a long time, this strategy worked very well too- Hindus despite being 80%+ were never appeased or given preferential treatment by the various governments (including the half-baked Hindutva ones of NDA-1 under ABV) till now because unlike the Muslims, Hindus were divided across castes and as such their numbers were smaller compared to the 15%+ muslims who voted as a block. And under the guise of secularism, these parties did everything in their power to keep the Hindus divided across the caste lines, while consolidating the Muslim votes under their own banner with multiple sops at the expense of the Hindus. BJP successfully engineered a coalition of all castes in UP (learning from its anti-reservation remarks in Bihar) and brought together a consolidation of Hindu votes. There is the reason why all 403 candidates of BJP were Hindus.
As anyone with even a small brain can tell- 80% is 4 times larger than 20%, something the Secular cabal which ruled India till now seemed to have forgotten. So even if 50% of the 80% vote, it will result in a 40% vote share in a three way fight of an election and that is what happened. Rather than destroying castes which the caste apologists of RW and the secular cabal of the left would like you to think, BJP masterfully united the castes along the Hindu lines. Rise of neo-middle class from all castes, thanks to liberalization since 90s and reservations allowed for a resurgence in OBC and SC Hindu population which consolidated behind Hindutva. This is something BJP and other Hindu well wishers should take note while going into future elections. Abhinav Prakash outlined the caste equations of this election and the paradigm shift with respect to Yogiji’s elevation on this issue which can be read here. Despite all these facts, there are certain cretins in the social media which try to give credit to nationalist/moderate muslims (in whichever alien universe they exist!!) for BJP victory. It is better to ignore these cretins as if given chance as they have no self respect whatsoever while seeking secular validation.
Significance 3: Burning of the Paisa/Vikas wallahs (Vikastards)
This is something is very easy to miss unless one has paid a close attention to the social media handles and pages of the Hindu traditionalists and Hindutva RW pages. For a long time, it was the Vikastards of the BJP support base which dominated the discussion and policy decision priorities since the emergence of Modi as the PM of India. But BJP per se came to power largely riding on the backs of the Hindutva voter base, which liked Modi’s no nonsense image as much or even more than vikas. Ignoring the larger voter base of the BJP, which cares for Hindu issues more than development, in favor of the smaller vote base of BJP, which only cared about development than culture and honor, was neither fair to the majority of BJP voters nor is it a smart strategy for BJP or Hindu society at large. In the long run, Vikas can be promised by anyone while Hindutva is unique to BJP as an ideology. Besides, most Indians haven’t actually risen out of the socialist brainwashing of the Congress or the anti-capitalist shock from the British loot and hence the number of Indians who actually believe in free market per se is very low.
We at YugaParivartan maintained for a long time that majority of the BJP vote and support was actually coming from Hindu voter bases and not from the paisa wallahs who wanted development at all costs, sometimes even at the cost of honor and dignity. And we were proven right in this election. By smartly fielding all candidates to be Hindus and then strategically highlighting the mistreatment of the Hindus in the secular governments and their anti-Hindu rhetoric, BJP managed to tap into the anger against the secular government. The election results from west UP are clear indicator of how Hindus there were sick of secular posturing by all parties. And unlike the Paisawallahs, who think that there is a proper price for everything i.e. for the right % of GDP points, honor can be sold or ignored, most of the Indians are actually quite self-respecting and would place honor and dignity above money, as any self respecting Human should. And this is a smart position to have too- India can become a Super power/richest nation in the world and control 25% of the world economy again after 1700s despite being reduced to being the poorest country in the world due to colonial loot under British and later Congress mismanagement but Pakistan can never become a Hindu nation with Hindu culture again. Point being, a poor nation can become rich any day if it gets proper institutions and government but culture once lost is lost forever. Pakistan is now a bigger Arab wannabe than Qatar or Kuwait for precisely that reason and this is what Paisa-wallahs of BJP never seem to get. As such, Yogi’s appointment to Chief Ministership of UP is recognition of Hindutva voter base by the BJP.
There are some people who think that only a minority in the Social media circle wanted Yogiji as a CM and that vast BJP SM supporters preferred a less polarizing candidate. However, thats not true. Most on social media Sites are elites compared to the heart of India, who know more about the ground situation of the UP and its realities and are not likely to be brainwashed into believing secular nonsense of the Media or its white wannabe secular clowns. They are the ones who have to deal with Kairana and West UP/Muzzafarnagar riots. As such, appointment of Yogiji as the Chief Minister of UP is the popular choice among the people of UP, who voted for BJP. Yogi Adityanath won MP seat from Gorakhpur 5 times straight without any help and his MLA candidates have even defeated and reduced the BJP MLA candidate running against him below deposit-recovering level votes. And unlike most typical BJP leaders, Yogi ji is a Hindu nationalist who isn’t from the old guard RSS which still thinks it has magic ability to cure Islam.
Of course, this is not to say that Yogi ji isnt a good administrator. He is an excellent administrator and his wins in his own seat on his own without RSS to back him up and the way he has administered trust and organizations over the years shows how clear sighted he is. But the fact of the matter is, his image as the hard line Hindutva nationalist is more prominent than his image as the administrator and optics is equally important in politics. So at least from now on, Paisa-wallahs and the BJP bhakths (who defend even 40% reservation for Hindu girls in Muslim universities plan) will not have excuses that media projection and propaganda is why BJP has not delivered anything substantial for the Hindu issues so far. That is, compared to appointment of Yogi ji as the CM of UP, implementation of UCC, junking of Article 370, giving parity for Hindus in RTE etc will be nothing communal. This appointment marks a tectonic shift in the politics of India and Hindu society.
Significance 4: Exposing the Moderate Taqqiyya-wallahs
To the surprise of many “centrist” Hindus and no surprise to Hindu traditionalists like us at YP, appointment of Yogi ji as the CM of UP has pissed off the Moderate Taqqiyya wallahs and has made them take their taqqiyya masks off to the full view of “centrist” Hindus, if only for a brief moment. They too had a massive and hilarious meltdown in Twitter and other social media sites about how Hindutva is as evil as Jihadis/ISIS and how Yogi ji is equivalent to Muslim terrorists. As we had always maintained here at YP, there is no such thing as a moderate muslim and all the moderate muslims are now ex-muslims. The religion is incompatible with any other religion as it is the most virulent form of Abrahamic monotheism there is and as such is incompatible with Pagan cultures like that of Hindus. At least now, centrists should take note on how we prove to be right on every single issue we talk about.
